YEP it's been a life. Uhh I mean awhile. The little engine called my life has had a few a sputters ... coughs and major stalls or has at least caused a few.

So the muse has been slow to inspiration and BTVS has suffered but alas maybe not all is lost ... hoping to get the fires burning once again, I immersed myself in reading online and hard copy and my muse began to whisper in my ear ... set Buffy and crew aside for a while and touch something different ... and of course desperate to write anything besides my name and typing "all work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy" over and over I said 'Okay'. 

So here's an offering ... not my usual fandom to work in (and trust me I'm as shocked as anyone) but twisted into my own perverse version of style a Miranda Priestly/Andrea Sachs pairing. The Devil Wears Prada fanfictiion the as of yet unbetaed...

The Devil herself is not exempt from harsh dues and the world of the rich, famous and glamorous is overrun with the real predators in Jimmy Choos shoes whose schemes are deadlier than just the wrecking of a few careers. And making enemies among them can find one damned to an existence of hellish eternity, or cast along the edges of Purgatory with no hope of redemption.

Andy Sachs is about to learn that ... 

Salvation is as tricky as picking the right door. The lady or The tiger. And the key to redemption when one has fallen far from the reach of the arms of angels lies in choosing between the self-serving devil you escaped or the devil who chose you and knowing which is which.

Brief Summary: Post S7 ... Willow's Slayer activation spell brings about changes for more than just the Potential slayers all over the word. An assassin, (and now lost Slayer) well past the age of activation finds herself imbued with power and no understanding of what she is and how she came to be. Dawn and Xander must manipulate and play with destinies when a horrible future is revealed to them. A bitter rival for power sends Willow on what is meant to be a one way trip to hell and even after the rescue Willow, Buffy and Faith are forever changed by the ordeal.  A master vampire and His last surviving Childe find that compromise, is the only hope for saving themselves from immortal enemies and eternal damnation and torment. Allies, mortal enemies, friends lovers, a ghost from the not so distant past, and a lost Slayer must come together or the world itself will be swallowed by hell.
